Copying by hand works for short chats. Context Move saves the full conversation in one click, including attached files, keeps it where you can search for it later, and formats it so another AI can read it.
The extension saves chats from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Perplexity, Copilot, Lovable and Replit. Saved context is plain text, so you can paste it into any AI tool.
On your computer. If you connect Google Drive, a backup copy is saved in your own Drive account. Context Move does not keep a copy on its own servers, and you can disconnect Drive at any time.
On Windows, the app updates itself automatically unless you turn that off. On macOS, run brew upgrade --cask contextmove in Terminal.
The buzzer plays a sound when you reach your Claude usage limit, so you can save the conversation before you are locked out of it. It is for paid Claude plans. In the app you can set a custom threshold, choose or upload a sound, or turn it off.
Yes. The context is handed over as a structured prompt with the conversation's key points, decisions and open questions, so the next AI can continue without you explaining the project again.
